Lauren Russo (Newtown, CT) graduated cum laude from the Ailey/Fordham BFA Program with a dual major in Dance/Economics in 2018. She holds a BMC Certification from the Bloomberg Institute and is a member of the Fordham University chapter of the Omicron Delta Epsilon International Honor Society for Economics. Lauren pioneered her study abroad program at the London Contemporary Dance School in Spring 2017. While in college Lauren performed at The Hudson Yards Heatherwick Vessel Unveiling Event hosted by Mayor de Blasio and Anderson Cooper, as well as alongside The Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre in both their 2016 and 2017 New York City Center Seasons. Since graduating she has danced alongside Tony Award Winner, Idina Menzel in a Disney x Saks Fifth Avenue collaboration for the premier of Frozen II. Lauren has also performed in New York Fashion Week, appeared on The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel for Amazon Prime, modeled in a campaign for Hit House, performed commercially for Athena Entertainment and toured domestically with Ballaro Dance, American Swiss Ballet and i KADA Contemporary Dance Company as a company member. Lauren recently completed her second contract with Princess Cruise Line and is currently a company member with Amanda Selwyn Dance Theatre.
